Laying my eyes on my first computer, I instantly became an enthusiast of new technology. I fondly remember my days spent as a chronic ‘early adopter.’ In 2005, I set up a Gmail account (a service that was only available by invitation at the time) and then began storing my files on Dropbox in 2008. Back then, no one had heard of ‘cloud computing’. So, what’s the key takeaway here? In the crazy world of technology where new trends come and go in the blink of an eye, it can be tricky to find long-lasting solutions that stand the test of time. We strike a balance between remaining open to innovation while still relying on tried-and-true solutions that are here to stay.
